Rosemary Karr - EKU Mathematics Alumnus Honored as Nation's Best

November 15, 2007 -EKU Alumnus, Rosemary Karr, accepted the highly-coveted U.S. Professor of the Year award today at a Washington D.C. ceremony sponsored by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.

Jenö Lehel - Vernon Wilson Endowed Chair (Spring 2007)

During the Spring 2007 semester Professor Jenö Lehel held the Vernon Wilson Endowed Chair in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Eastern Kentucky University. He conducted a Seminar in Graph Theory and Combinatorics and hosted a number of invited scholars to present their research to the seminar and collaborate with faculty in the department.
